Hi I am Margaret,
Live in the Puget sound region of Washington State. I have been on HRT almost a year. What an amazing journey. It started 50 odd years ago and took a fork last October, when I came out to my partner. Since then have changed names, lost 65 lbs, started HRT and have GCS scheduled for January 2018. The best part has been being happy and the minimal fall out of friends and family. I so expected to be alone yet happy and not to have made new relationships and not to have ket and grown the ones I have.
I hear so many tales of woe and abandonment. I am so impressed by everyone who has gone it on their own, I try and lend a helping hand when I can. If any questions please just ask!

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Hello Margaret, welcome to Susan's!

I am MtF across the lake from Seattle (in Kirkland), started HRT recently (July) and GRS/GCS scheduled for January.  Your intro says a lot - I can relate directly from my own experiences so far, including getting my weight under control a few years ago.

Glad you're here!  See you around.

Hello and thank you! I Am also scheduled for gcs in January at OH god early AM on the 5th with Dr. Ley. I am 54 have known I was not in the correct body from age 3 or 4. Bad times there telling my sperm bank at age four. Wish I was a girl! When I grow up I am going to be a girl. That hurt the impact of foot to body and body at the base of the stairs is a once in a LIFETIME one.
The past year has been the longest and the shortest in my memory, love time dilation.
A quick question, how do I post an avatar image? - Reading the rules I figured that one out :)
Thanks,
Margaret
