Hello, my name is Nat. It's Nat because I knew in 2nd grade that I was no "Nathaniel"! Unfortunately here I am 33 and only just beginning to embark on the transition (MTF) I dreamed on for so long. I have my first appointment with a gender specializing therapist and a consult at a electrolysis clinic here in New England this week. I have a wife of 14 years and 4 children who we adore very much. I am blessed in many ways so even though I am frustrated at having waited/wasted so many years as a closet cross dresser I feel ready to go further. I'm really excited at the small steps: my expanding wardrobe, opportunities to be out in public, tips I'm picking up on passing more successfully, hopefully soon an opportunity for HRT. I'm ready to accept who I am and embrace my expression even when life's realities make taking action seem scary, daunting, or even unrealistic.

I feel I'm bad at introductions because I'm not that social. My heart is racing now even as I type this post. It will be a feat if I make more posts to the forum in the future and don't just lurk in search of makeup tips. Thanks for reading ___ :)  Nat

Welcome to Susan's Place. We all are nervous at first but this is a safe web site. We understand people are different and have different needs so you are just as welcome as anybody else. Your introduction is quite good compared to many I have seen that just consist of a couple of lines. I hope you continue to post so we can learn more about you.

If anybody gives you a problem, there is a button to the right of each post that you can use to report the problem. Just press it an a moderator will take care of it.

Hi Nat, that was a great introduction. Welcome to Susan's. I am Jayne, 45 yo mtf from Australia. I started HRT 3 months ago. I wish you well on your journey and hope you continue posting. I felt similar to you when making my first post. There is nothing to fear, there are a great bunch of people here.

Hi Nat,  I'm a 40 y/o mtf trans-woman from 'old' England (uk).
I've got two young children (6 and 3), who with some bumps seem to be accepting the authentic me.
You'll find lots of friendly people here,  see you round!

Hello, and welcome Nat :)

Your introduction was great! I think you will like it here. There's no pressure here, and you can always be yourself. We are all family here, and as much as you feel comfortable, you can say how you feel. It's a great place to springboard thoughts, and feel supported. You are on you're way, that is awesome! Challenges come, but remember you always have options, and friends here.

Thank you all for your warm welcome! Quick questions: can anyone tell me how to add a picture to my profile her and/or how to post pics to the gallery? Ummmm.. also, does anyone have any personal Rec's for a woman's deodorant type product that prevents/eliminates male b.o. pretty well without irritating my extremely sensitive fair skin? Until just recently I've used "Tom's of Maine" natural deodorant because it doesn't cause redness and burning in my pits... but it's just not effective for my lady stink (especially during recent stressful social situations!)

Thankssss! -Nat

Really, Parseltongue here?

Welcome to Susan's Place, Nat! I'm in Weymouth, MA.

Ah, the man stink. Mine went away when I started taking estrogen supplements.

See you around the site!

Hugs, Devlyn

If you look at the red lettered links in the greeting links I posted for you, you will discover that most of the features remain locked until you reach 15 quality posts. After that you are able to access your profile and customize it. As for the Gallery, I haven't had need to use it yet so I don't know.
