Actually he has been schooled for years ... A girl who was interviewed for the two hospitals vouching for a bite in the in state trans care article ( http://nwpr.org/post/two-rural-northwest-hospitals-weigh-offering-surgeries-transgender-people)  has relayed this message to me

"He is a surgeon who has been doing other surgeries and things for trans people for a long time. Everyone around here says he has some of the best work they've seen. He is really passionate about helping trans people, and he is getting trained by two other surgeons who have been doing srs for awhile( i will try to find out whom that is )" "Yeah. I trust him, I trust him enough for him to be my surgeon" "yeah. I was talking with her in January, in the list was too far out and I am not even sure I will be in washington state in 3+ years but then I found out about Dr. Stiller, and have met with him a few times now" "it depends on your initial genital length. but he expecting 5 or so inches for most people. and if it is less than that, he can add depth with other techniques" And her surgery is scheduled for September thats the jist of it all...

Just a little more on this.  The original post sounds at least like a paraphrase of what I had said in those articles. I was a previous patient of Dr. Stillers.  He performed breast aug, rhino/septoplasty and an orchi on me.  His work was phenomenal. Scaring is next to non-existent.  I also was the first GRS patient of Dr. Stillers after two years of talking with him about performing this surgery. He was more than interested in offering this to the Trans community. When I heard that he finally was going to offer it, I did not hesitate and immediately called his office for a consult, which coincided with a followup.

He informed me that Dr. Garcia from Sanfranciso would be the proctor. Which I immediately started doing my research on. I did not question Dr. Stillers Surgical Skills and knew he would be great. Since then he has performed other surgeries and will be receiving his credentials to perform these surgeries on his own. I have nearly zero scaring from GRS. My friends were amazed that there were no scars to be seen at all.

Dr. Stiller and his staff are amazing and they will go out of there way to ensure that people have the information that they need. I have nothing negative to say about the experience. HOwever, do keep in mind that people are all different and they interact with others differently. A difference or opinion can most certainly happen. Additionally, there are some reason that surgery should or cannot be performed on certain individuals.  This is not a reflection of the Doctor so much as the situation, body type or some other external factor. Any negative would probably be contrived from this.  So keep in mind there will always be some Negative Nelly's, that compalin.

I am more then happy to post pics of Post op if there is a place to do so.
Don't let opportunities pass you by. If your unsure say yes then learn what you need to along the way.

could you? im curious about new surgeons and how their skills stack up, esp when there is so little info out there on them. My understanding is that the website transbucket.com is a good place to share your results since they do not allow that here

Does he accept insurance?
Yes he does which is somewhat why he was brought in. I am also hearing if people have Washington  Apple health (Medicaid ) they do not need to go to Stiller and can go to Dugi in Portland but they have to do extra paper work ...

I suppose to go there from Seattle with my girlfriend (who is going to him ) on plane next month . I would drive but neither of us do not have a license lmfao. How are the scars. That's what she is concerned with since I believe bowers now out the scars in the crease of the thigh bikini area ... and depth ?
And congrats

Stiller uses facial stitches. they are hidden so the scars are almost non-existent. he truly is amazing. i knew from the moment i met him he was the one to do my surgery. He also designs the vagina to match the body contours.
