I came home from work last night, had a quick shower and threw on one of my casual dresses.
My niece who now lives with us and accepts me unconditionally with my uniqueness, showed me her new birth certificate.
She has had a troubled upbringing, with her father being a not so nice person. He has all but disowned his 4 children. Jess has had so little to do with him and his horrible mind games that she could not wait until she turned 18 to change her last name away from his to her mothers.
Changing of a birth certificate is not only massive for anyone transgendered, but for any person who needs to go through a life changing moment. I had my wife take a picture of her and me as to me she is awesome and this was a great moment for her. I wanted to share this piece of great news with you all since she supports me so well with who I am.
