It's just a matter of time this technology will make it up to human level. Since males have both X and Y chromosomes, males can create female and male babies without even needing a biological woman.

If women can find a way to create sperm, women will only be able to make women. Women cannot make men, unless she's transgender/transsexual, intersex, or something else of these origins.

As a trans woman, I would love to see this technology advance to human level sometime soon. It would bring me joy knowing I can have biological children with a future husband. Rather than being destined to mix my genes with natal females.

Also to note that they are working on uterus transplants right now as well. They have done it from female to female but, no transgender's yet. So there may be that as well that you could carry that child as well. Advancements are coming to improve our lives and live more fulfilled.

Good point Megan!!! Even though I have seen my ex push out 3, I still want to be able to have at least one of my own. Obviously a trans person won't be able to do the birth, because our hips don't flex like cis-gender women.

I guess it will depend on what becomes available in our lifetimes. I'd love to see some progress in available options. I know I can stop taking estrogen for a month or two and then use the little bit of sperm production that may likely initiate to fertilize an egg, but I don't want to fertilize an egg. I want to create an egg from my DNA, and have that fertilized by a man. Whether that be in a transplanted uterus, artificial womb, biological carrier, or anything else that may be thought of. I want to provide the egg! They can make it from skin cells; hell, they can even make it from bone marrow if they need to! Just figure it out! 🙂
