Story time! taking a break from cursing burocracy and staring at my screen for my personal writing. Although it has been a good week on the artistic front I painted a cat (it came out nicely despite not having proper tools on hand) and got tons of words down on a novel I'm working on. (One day I will finish a novel!- and then several more!) But thats another story.

I meep. Weather it's because I dropped something or slipped on a rock while dancing over terrain that was not intended as a dance floor ( often resulting in wet feet although these days I wear socks and shoes that dry quickly as it has happened far to often- I find myself crossing an awful lot of streams in my meanderings). I swear I'm not clumsy I always recover- well when my hair isn't plotting my demise by blinding me. Some times I meep in surprise when some gives me a complment others it's getting mudy paw prints on my shirt from a friendly dog coming to nuzzle my face. I swear I'm not short, I just have a way with dogs. For a time I tried to suppress the meeps finding them embarrassing and while I was good at holding my tongue for some reason in those moments of surprise the meep comes out, ruining my dark stoic facade. But I always enjoyed the suprises why should I hide this meep this adorable noise I make when something unexpected jumps into my life? Why should I hide my expression of joy at the unexpected? No more! I meep therefore I am! - myself that is.

This is just one of many little things I use to try and hide but i thought it would be fun to write about.
So what odd quirks have you come to embrace?
