Hello, i am Eden. Ive been on HRT since 11/16, pre-op and i am uncomfortably confused if this is normal. I am afraid something has happened and my levels have changed since certian changes seem to have receeded...

since about 2/17 ejaculatory fluid has been clear, then stopping all together.
Now all of a sudden in the last 2 months, ive expierenced a sudden return of both more fluid and occasionally semi-cloudy inclusion.

To add to it, the only thing that has changed since 5/17 is my injections are failing quite often since 11/17. (estradiol immediately vacating back out the injection site).

---

Would this change, be contributed by a change in hormonal levels? or is it normal/triggerable.

If the injection vacate the injection site, then it did not work and your estradiol level may be too low. Pretty much all the E ends on on your skin end gets wiped away.

I am using pills so I am not an expert in injection estradiol but you may need to try a different site or technique for injection. And have your levels checked.

I can say that on pills, it did not come back at all. Even the "clear" part of it is now reduced to a drop,

I would start with a blood test and maybe ask one of the nurses at your doctor if there is a good trick for the injections.

I think your testosterone may have come back up...you should ensure your injections are successful everytime. Talk to your doctor ASAP.

@ Sarah:  I am using pills also and I had exactly the same experience about 7 months into my HRT.  Now that I have been on HRT for just over 3 years... no erections, no ejaculations, nothing.   Now a useless appendage which is just fine by me!!!

Try the Z-track method, it helps prevent leakage. Inject slowly and once the needle is out, press on the site with a gauze. Worked for me. :) Check with a nurse.

I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

I had to switch to pills for a while, and that was what happened for me during that time, it turned out my levels WERE quite wrong, testosterone was high, AND estrogen was low, back on injections now, and I can say everything is back to (ab)normal, although I haven't had levels tested again yet. So you can basically take 3 months off my HRT counter >.>
