Did I damage my brow bone from Pushing against it?!?!?

Is it possible to augment or damage your final results by pressing hard against the brow bone after FFS in those first few days? I did a lot of that. I would push the ice pack very hard against my forehead and also pressed hard against my brow bone at times compulsively (I know how ridiculous this sounds but I was being really compulsive).

When I would press against it I would hear a squelching sound. I kept wondering if I was augmenting the work Dr. C had done and now I am really worried that I might have. Is that even possible? My brow bone looked so rounded and feminine before I began doing that and as it settles and some of the swelling is going down I feel pressure up there and also it looks much more flat. It was VERY rounded immediately after my op.

So yea. Is it possible to mess up the work that way?

You need to discuss this with your doctor. Any bone work  should have been anchored in place sufficiently to keep it from moving with normal pressure. This should include laying on it wrong in bed and other accidents. Because I don't know the details of the surgery, I can't tell you just how much pressure the surgery will withstand but the doctor should be able to ease your concerns.

He's really hard to get in touch with being a country away and currently on vacation :c I think I am just paranoid. I have been a lot of that since the surgery

There may be a risk. I read in my instructions that I am not even supposed to blow the nose or suck on a straw for the first 2 weeks until the bone there has healed. This is mainly for type 3 forehead - it is all fixed in place, but probably the soft tissue has to heal before the bone can heal? I would not worry much now - not much you can do now except wait for the surgeon to answer and have maybe a checkup. I would rather think that the difference you see is from swelling going down. Sometimes swelling also will go down unevenly

yes i could not sneeze or blow my nose for about 3 weeks. however, i did suck many straws since i couldnt really drink or eat at first. i am now at 6 weeks and luckily there seems to be no problem with air in the forehead area.

but i think that it looks less rounded because the swelling goes away i dont think it is possible you have been pushing it because otherwise this would be mentioned.

With ice and pressure?  I doubt it.  Feeling air/liquid within the tissues isn't unusual early on, but it should settle.  Talk to your surgeon obviously, and use common sense.
