Congrats!

Just be sure to do your research and learn how to wear it safely, okay?  I'm sure you don't need any broken ribs.

First of all, congrats!! How did you figure out the sizing?
I went shopping yesterday and got some stuff from the female section and 1 item from men's! I felt so great I decided to go out just with my new clothes :D But I also bought something like a sports bra (an XS tank top that is very tight), I wore it for an hour in an attempt to 'bind'. But I got this awful chest pain that hasn't gone away yet even though I've been without that shirt for 24 hours straight. Any ideas guys?

Had the same problem when trying the sports bra method. Should go away within the next few days; probably just bruised your ribs. Unlikely you caused any permanent damage.

I found with GC2B it caused me no pain whatsoever; even when wearing it all day.

I also found when buying a binder you'll often get it wrong even when measuring your chest carefully. With under works I wondered one too small; with GC2B I ordered one too big
They/them pronouns preferred.

I got help with sizing by messaging the staff of the GC2B website and I found them extremely helpful. ;) and I'm sorry I've never bonded before so I'm not sure

Is your chest pain worse when you press on the connections of the bones? (Worse when you press in but let's up some after you release pressure?

It could honestly be because your body isn't used to it.
Gc2b makes a big deal about working your body into a binder, start off with an hour or two a day, giving your bod rest days, and then slowly increasing the time.

I had been binding for a few months and suddenly had horrible chest pain that turned out to be costochondritis. Also known as, inflammation of the cartilage of the chest and ribs. I never exceeded the time and was always careful to not overdo it, but my body is prone to inflammation.
It cause massive pains in my chest that had doctors so concerned they wanted to make sure it wasn't my heart.
