I had been on HRT for 4 months. I doubled the dose of E and reduced little bit dose of CA 3 weeks ago. Then, I had found that my breast and breast bud shrink last week. The soreness of breast bud and the sensitive of papillae disappeared. Is anybody can tell me what is wrong? I was down this week. My endo has no response for my situation. I don't know what should I do.

Your helps are highly appreciated.

I been on hrt off and on since the 90's and took them more faithfully since 2014. But to answer ur question the bud seem to come n go. Last time I felt them was like early this year when I was on a higher dosage of delestrogen when my estrogen levels were over 2000. They hurt sssoooo bad but either way my delestrogen was lowered n it disappeared. And I might add I was more sane when my E levels were in the 2k range

It's okay, they do that.  Mine have shrunk a few times, but eventually rebounded.  I am 11 months on HRT.  Growth comes in spurts, and there can be some shrinkage between growth spurts.  It's all good.

I'm in the middle of another growth spurt right now.  Mine are still little, but they are really cute, and I can play with them any time I want.  :D  I have resigned myself to the fact that I'll never have big bazoomas, but that's okay.  They are real.

Same here. They do go through cycles  I was a good bit over an A cup recently, then lost some weight and now I am back to an A cup only. Same applies for breast buds and sensitivity / pain. They grow and shrink in cycles. I am one year into HRT and so far I am not overly concerned. I was hoping for a B cup by now but it may be another year or two.

It does take between 3 and 5 Years for them to develop and even afterwards there can be surprising growth spurs.

I do know that for me the cycles are somewhat tied to Progesterone- I only take it 14 days of each month. Breast development starts about a week after starting Progesterone and then slows down the week after stopping. It also depends on the month, sometimes it is more and sometimes less.

While I am not a medical expert I would say to not worry.

Just over 12 months for me and I've thought things have shrunk a few times but it's potentially all in the mind as well.  One hopes for them to grow and the slightest negative change seems like a massive backwards step.  Mine have been sore for almost all of the time on HRT except for when I change estrogen tablet.  I switched back the the regular one and things were back to normal for me.  I was fortunate to have "man boobs" to some extent prior to HRT and am currently pushing a B cup with a desire to reach a C.

As Sarah is, I'm on progesterone as well, but I take it everyday although a low dose split in half.  It's suggested that it may help growth, but only professional help will verify that and it's not norammly prescribed....at least in the UK as far as I know!
