I'm very disappointed in the prosthetic I received considering I spent over $800 on it expecting a top-quality product like the pictures on the website and YouTube videos which would be a placeholder for surgery.
However, my prosthetic has basically no movable foreskin like they say it will and I wasn't given any advance warning on the website or in the emails I exchanged with them prior to buying the product that would indicate that would be the case, so I only found out when I actually got the packer in the mail.
Even though they knew that the base model had a large difference in the movable skin, they didn't put that information anywhere on the site or publically state it or anything so I was deceived and disappointed. They additionally reduced to exchange my product for a model with more movable skin, or refund me in any way.
I want people to see this so they know what to expect with the flaccid model because buying a prosthetic of this price is a big investment and I don't want anyone to unknowingly make the choice I did. If you want the faccid model that's okay, but please be aware it has way less movable skin.
I don't know how to put pictures in this, sorry! I can link to my Tumblr if someone wants to see.
Below I have documented my exchanges with the company.
Me: I spent $835.50 for a M13 Pack n play prosthetic 4.5" circumcised Base Model prosthetic with Enhanced Detail Paint and H9 Hand Punched Hair Human Hair and then waited about 29 weeks to actually get it. I watched all the demo videos on YouTube and looked at all the pictures on the website, and decided on getting the 4.5" instead of the 3" because I wanted a realistic size for a flaccid penis but also as much movable foreskin as possible.
The website said "All of our prosthetics include our innovative movable outer foreskin layer. This outer layer of skin feels amazingly close to actual foreskin. Due to the highly inventive process we pioneered with our first ftm prosthetic, the outer skin layer can be moved and pulled independently of the main penile shaft." and this is the feature that I most craved in a prosthetic, and why I was willing to spend so much on it.
Your website claims all prosthetics have a movable outer foreskin layer, but when I opened the packaging and took out my prosthetic, I was disappointed to find that it does not have movable foreskin. I didn't email immediately because I have anxiety, but I can send videos or take pictures to prove this. The website says any damages caused due to manufacturing error are covered under warranty, and this is not from "typical" everyday wear and tear since I have only used it 3 times since opening it because I was so disheartened.
I want to have either a new prosthetic or a refund since your website had claims my prosthetic didn't live up to.
Reelmagik: You may provide a video of the prosthetic, however, the base model is flaccid and would not have as much movable outer foreskin layer since it is soft and designed for packing use only. The firm fill and Flex rod models have more movable skin since they have a firmer center to the prosthetics. The soft/flaccid acts like a real penis, the outer skin layer is not as movable due to it not being erect. Unfortunately, we would not be able to offer you a refund or new prosthetic since we made the prosthetic to what you ordered. We can provide a video to demonstrate this on a base model if you would like more visual aide.
Me: Telling me now that "the base model is flaccid and would not have as much movable outer foreskin layer... the firm fill and Flex rod models have more movable skin" doesn't change that I couldn't have been expected to know that before ordering, and only telling me of this difference after I received the product and thought there had been a manufacturing error isn't fair.
You said now that you "can provide a video to demonstrate this on a base model if you would like more visual aide" now but I have the prosthetic so I know what it looks like now so telling me about it after I bought it doesn't help me in any way, I have already spent the money and bought the prosthetic. You should have informed me before it had been made.
I bought a base model because your website said "All of our prosthetics include our innovative movable outer foreskin layer" and I took that to mean ALL prosthetics have the same amount of movable skin because nowhere on the website did it warn that the flaccid model would not have as much movable skin.
It didn't say that information anywhere at all in all of the text and pages on the website, so I assumed that the base model would have just as much flaccid skin as the others because I wasn't given accurate information about it on the website.
Additionally, when I emailed to ask about getting a flaccid model nobody said anything about the less movable skin, or gave me any sort of warning or heads up that the base model was different in any way besides being softer, so the company still didn't inform me that the base model has less movable skin.
I proceeded to buy it not knowing that it would be different than the examples shown on the website and demo YouTube videos. When I received my prosthetic, I was disappointed to find that there wasn't as much movable skin as there are on the other models. You may have "made the prosthetic to what ordered" but if the website or customer service had said anything about the base model having less movable skin I would not have ordered it.
I was denied the opportunity to make an informed decision on which model to buy because of the lack of information. I unknowingly spent $835.50 expecting a different product than I got because there was no reason for me to suspect that the base model had less movable skin, and the whole time this company knew that the skin wasn't as movable on the base model but just didn't see fit to inform customers of that very important fact.
I want either a new prosthetic or a refund because the website made it seem like I would get more movable skin than it tuned out to be and I only bought the prosthetic because I was expecting the same amount of movable skin as the website showed.
Reelmagik: We are sorry for the confusion about the movable outer foreskin layer. For the base model (flaccid), they have the same layering as the erect models, however, since it does not have a firm center, you would not be able to feel as much of a difference than the erect models. Base models, being of their nature is flaccid, it will be more difficult to feel the difference between the movable foreskin and the center of the shaft since it is soft, however, you should still be able to move/stretch the foreskin. Our advertising states that all of our prosthetics have the outer skin layer that can be moved and pulled independently even on the base models, which we believe moves like real skin, is soft, with a silky finish to mimic the feel of skin, and realistically pulls up from the shaft. Your prosthetic should act close to a real penis where the skin can be stretched/moved and once released, it should return to its original form. You may provide a video of you pulling up on the outer foreskin layer on the shaft to show us what you mean so we can further assist you.
Me: I don't know how I could be expected to know that the flaccid model is made in X way which means Y thing about the skin when nobody told me, it isn't listed on the site, and all the pictures on the site were of the firm fill or rod but it was unlabeled and there were none of the flaccid. I may have ordered the flaccid model but that was because it wasn't stated which differences it had from the erect model.
This is the most my prosthetic skin moves, which is a lot less than the company's website pictures and youtube demonstration videos. It hardly pinches at all. My $20 Sailor packer can pinch more than this can.
Reelmagik: All of our Pack n Play prosthetics are made using the same technique...the outer skin layers are poured and casted identically in each model, regardless of the options chosen. The only difference in the model you purchased is the inner fill, which in your case is much softer since you purchased a flaccid model. The outer skin layers were still made using the movable skin technique...because the inside of the prosthetic is so soft, it may be more difficult to actually grab the outer skin layers (which are already very soft) and separate them from the inner gel fill. The videos and photos you see on the webstore feature either the firm fill or the flex rod options, each of which have a much firmer inner core, which enable the outer skin layers to be more easily grasped and pulled away from the firmer core. The flaccid model simulates an actual flaccid penis. On a penis that is more erect, the outer skin layer is more noticeable when pulled away from the erect core of the penis. This is how our products work as well. The product you received is not defective, nor is it different then what is shown on the webstore. Even if we were to provide you with a replacement product, there would be no difference in function, it functions as is should. Unfortunately, as the product you received is correct, a refund or replacement is not warranted.
