Hello all,

I got my first pair of heels today and decided to dress up. This is my first time putting together some sort of look in women's clothes (albeit it was only a skirt and heels) but it just felt so right. I have always had feelings of wanting to live as a woman and one day transition but I never took it past a feeling until recently. I ordered 2 more pair this afternoon, I can't wait until they arrive.

I've enjoyed shoe shopping as well.  I dressed up nicely in a skirt and boots for a concert Monday night.  My wife asked how I felt being dressed like that and I told her I felt very relaxed and comfortable.  More comfortable than wearing slacks and a button up shirt.

Enjoy wearing your new heels.

I used to like wearing 4-inch heels. I once thought women wear high heels frequently, but what I have observed so far is that few women wear high heels here. College students here mostly wear sneakers or flat shoes. When they do wear heels for some special events, they mostly wear 1-2 inch high heels. Yes. Some women wear 4 inch heels, especially in the downtown of any big city here. Nowadays I like to mix well with ordinary women.

Just wondering the height of your new heels.

Cheers!

They are 4 inch. Figured I would go a little extreme for my first pair. Given how diffucult they are to walk in now I get why women stick with flats and lower heels. Oh well figured I would have some fun with my first pair. I did take some photos if anyone would like to see.  I didn't just want to post them since I am new to the sight and not sure how that would be received.

I agree with Barbie that it's a good idea to do like most women and mix heel wearing with wearing more practical footwear. High heels are not good for the feet, but great for glamor. Every womenswear newbie needs a nice pair of four inchers to learn heel walking in. You have to learn a new way walk, for sure. Check YouTube for lots of how-tutes. Rather than just falling forward onto your front foot, you want to swing your leg around your body before you put your weight on it. Try to walk sort of in a straight line, with one foot before the other.

It's not always just the height of the heel that can make walking harder or easier. Blocky heels or wedges are easier. Shoes that fit well are easier. etc.  My favorite black pumps I can wear for hours, no issues. I have lower ones that if I walk too much will start to bother me.

After my first pair of heels I could not stop wearing them. lol. Haha  thanks to that experience I could not stop buying them. try to get a few different sizes of heels and see which one feel comfortable for you. 😆 💖  maybe you can go to some of those second hand shops like the Salvos or something like those shops and find some really cheap shoes. 😆 or e bay as well.

Watch out for sidewalk cracks, gratings and soft ground!

Also, stilletos can damage your floors, your car doors and easily ladder your stockings. I much prefer block heels or wedges, but the "clip clop" noise made by really high heels is alluring.

Surprisingly, the noise is socially accepted and tolerated. Don't worry about it.

I haven't purchased any heels yet, a couple pair of boots, shoes, but no heels.  Working on that.  I use to be 5' 10" and somehow lost 3 inches so getting heels would put me back in space.
