Thermolysis VS Blend

 have been having blend for about 250 hours on my face. I will still go to the person I am going to with blend for 1 hour a week; however, I am starting with a person that does blend.

I leave about 2 square inches of mandible hair (thick) for blend. How much area should I leave for thermolysis? I was told it moves quicker. The person also said the some have better results with blend and others with thermolysis. What has bee your experience.

I had thermolysis on my genitals pre-op and blend on my face post-op. They are both effective. Since they were done on two different areas, I really cannot give a comparison except to say that blend is a lot less painful.

The reason for using two different methods is because I moved to a different city and that is what the new electrologist uses.

I forgot I had thermolysis on my genitals too, 6 sessions. They uses a local so just the needle pain then nothing. They blew apart the follicles. I guess they can get about 3 to 4 square inches an hour.

Did the thermolysis treatment leave any visible scars?

I had some scaring but I had to have about 20 hours on my genital area. I guess that I was just a bit hairier than you down there.

Whatever, we don't want any scaring on our faces. Go gentle.

I just got in from a 1 hour treatment of thermolysis in my face. I have blend on Thursday. Thermolysis definitely has an aftereffect I do not have with blend. About triple the area is covered if not more. Now the trick will be to evaluate the two different procedures over the next two months. I hope thermolysis works better on me than blend.

On my genitals there were blood spots, scabs and black and blue marks. After the local wore off there was tolerable pain. After each treatment the post pain and marks were progressively less.

I think my first session lasted 1 hour 15 minuets for full hair removal. My last treatment was less than 20 minutes I think.
