Thank you everyone, the healing is going very well. X

I have a question maybe another post op women could answer for me please? .
When my wife kisses me passionately at which point it arouses me, the area around my clitrous feels like it erects. Is this normal? as it feels really weird and uncomfortable and I was hoping that feeling would be gone for ever.
I would ask my surgeon but it's a Sunday night, thank you x
Christine,
First of all congratulations! Very happy for you. In answer to your question, it is a normal feeling. I was not expecting it either. I kind of had to say, "Okay blank slate, whatever it feels like, it is my new reality, I will get used to it being a little similar to before."

Yes, that is totally normal and what I experience. Most surgeons leave a small amount of erectile tissue around the clit (which used to be the head of the penis. It's also a good sign meaning that you have good blood flow in the area and sensitivity so orgasms should be easy to come by. Cis women experience the same thing when aroused. My wife and I have been comparing notes so to speak ;)

As a ciswoman, I concur with Sydney_NYC.  The clit can get hard & erect like a little engorged pebble. Then sensation can range from uncomfortable to somewhat painful depending on how aroused it is.  When I am aroused normally, it is just a bit bigger, but the more the state of arousal rises, the more engorged it becomes with blood, and it can be quite firm (like a pebble) and even be painful.  The plus side of this pain or discomfort that it usually means a more powerful orgasm.  I don't usually hit the superstate of arousal, but when I do, it is oww, then WOW!  In my opinion it is a good thing that you are having these sensations.  I wish you the best.

PS- I know you were asking for post-op replies, but I felt you should know that ciswomen have a similar reactions.  But there is no harm in checking with your surgeon just in case.  My daughter will hopefully be having her SRS later this year, and although I would tell her that my clit reacts that way, I would also tell her to talk to her surgeon just for peace of mind.  You only have one body, take care of it.  There are no silly questions.  I am very happy for you & your surgery.  Continue to heal & enjoy your new body.

Congratulations! I'm still at the beginning of my journey, and SRS is one of my biggest fears in moving forward. It's comforting to hear stories like this.

Yes it is normal. When you get more healing and associate the feeling with pleasure it will be a very good response. Right now it is probably very sensative. In time light coaxing then as foreplay proceeds more heavy play will give you pleasure.

I was afraid of breaking it. When you are fully healed o can assure you will not break it.

Thank you this really did help I really appreciate it , I'm surprised that the hospital don't tell people  much about what happens after operation as it would be helpful for people to know.

Thank you everyone for such kind words, I'm over the moon is like a dream come true and healing is going very well. X
You will only be truly happy when you learn to accept yourself.
