Yesterday I went to Richmond as I do every 3 months for a checkup. I had to wait a while but was finally seen. They took my blood pressure and it was finally truly normal. It was 120 over something. I cannot recall. They asked me if I wanted to up my dosage. I said yes. Now I am on a medium dose of estradiol. I then proceeded home.

When I got near home I went to pick up my prescription. I had already changed my name so they now know. The cashier told me her medication is 8 dollars. This was very nice. I was ecstatic. I then returned the rental car and went home and ate dinner.

That is exactly what I did a few years ago. I find that such a big step is in reality very routine.

Best wishes on your transition.  ;)
