I took my mothers middle name Marie as mine... 😀

Is that a suggestion Ashley?  Because that would be 4 independently derived Marie's

My mother and oldest sister's middle names are "Kay" 

When I started to transition i thought i wanted that middle name. I wanted to be a girl and that was the name the girls got in my family. I was given my father's middle name, Allen, at birth.  Over the past couple of months I decided to change the spelling of my middle name to "Allyn".  It feels both like I'm keeping a bit of what I was given and also making it my own.

Consider middle names that form a pleasant lyrical bridge between your first and last name.  It is hard for me to recommend a middle name without know your last (though I understand that you might not want to post it) because I think poetic quality is actually the main function of a middle name.  In my case (Madison), I also got a decent nickname out of it, but you already have that base well covered with Jessica.

Thank you Colleen, I agree.  You, Ashley, Charlie Nicki and Laurie all came up with my name by just knowing my soul and seeing her in my eyes with no prompting.
