What books are good for Giving to others Trans. information?

General Transgender and Transexual information is good.
Non-fiction especialy.

You can give someone a book but you can't make them read it. I tried that approach with the rsult that no-one read it.

very nice list of books. i played Santa to myself tonight and got a few off your list that seemed of interest to me. most of the books on your list , besides the clinical psychology books, are about $10 or less. "She's Not There: A Life in Two Genders" seems a good read, with the provocative intro:

"There they were, two young women standing by the side of the road with their thumbs out. They weren't warmly dressed, considering that it was December, in Maine. One of them had green hair. They looked to me as if they were in trouble, or about to be. I pulled over, thinking, better me than someone else. The world was full of characters. "
