I picked up the publication affidavit from the newspaper this morning and went to the County Courthouse. Paid for five copies of my 'Final Decree for Change of Name'. Next I went to the Social Security Office with my decree and gender marker change certification from my doctor. After about 2.5hrs it was done. I am now officially a woman named Jessica Rose!
