Hi to everyone!

My name is Sam, and I am a 30 year old male to female transgender person.  I've been lurking on these forums for a few months, and finally had a chance to create an account last week.

I start HRT on Friday, and am looking forward to my journey to being my authentic self.

I hope I can be a useful contributor to this community.  I know a lot of the posts on here have been very helpful to me!

Quite the week as you joined Susan's, and posted, and are about to start HRT.  I am MtF, a half year older than you based on the HRT calendar.

Good luck on your journey. Just for fun you might want to take a selfie and all your measurements the day before you start HRT. Your height, shoe size, shoulder width, chest, waist, hips and weight. I hope you have as happy a Friday as possible.

Julie - Good luck with the weight loss.  I'm sure you'll get there!

Kendra - Thanks as well for the compliment on my username.  Great rhyme at the end too!  I hope your HRT experience is going well.  I'll have to compare notes with you when I reach six months.

Polly - Great idea!  I've been using weight as my sole guidance point the past few months, but I think it will be less useful as I (hopefully) lose further pounds and gain a more feminine shape.

Pamela - Congrats as well on reaching this step!  I'll be very interested to learn how your transition goes.
