I was gendered a male at birth but have come to know different. I have been coming to this site, and countless others, for quite some time now. I have read hundreds of stories from people that mimic my story. The questioning phase is/was tough. I have yet to talk to a gender therapist and get an explicit "diagnosis" but i feel like that is a formality now. 

I a here to find friends, support, and guidance from those more experienced. Tomorrow I plan on finding a gender therapist so I can officially begin to properly become the woman I have always been. Thank you for being here and I look forward to getting to know y'all better.

Fortunately a lot of us here also try to fulfill that need too. No matter where you are in your own path you will find others here to join you. So come on in and get to know us while we get to know you. I am glad you are going to get yourself a gender therapist. It is a very good step but the mot important step you needed to make you have already done. You have taken that first step on your path to your desired goal. You have decided you are one of us.
