I was gendered a male at birth but have come to know different. I have been coming to this site, and countless others, for quite some time now. I have read hundreds of stories from people that mimic my story. The questioning phase is/was tough. I have yet to talk to a gender therapist and get an explicit "diagnosis" but i feel like that is a formality now.

I a here to find friends, support, and guidance from those more experienced. Tomorrow I plan on finding a gender therapist so I can officially begin to properly become the woman I have always been. Thank you for being here and I look forward to getting to know y'all better.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Hi Kelly!  Welcome!

Chrissy
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

  Hi Kelly,

I'm Laurie. I want to welcome you here to Susan's now that you have decided to join us here. There are a lot of us here for the same reasons you stated. Fortunately a lot of us here also try to fulfill that need too. No matter where you are in your own path you will find others here to join you. So come on in and get to know us while we get to know you. I am glad you are going to get yourself a gender therapist. It is a very good step but the mot important step you needed to make you have already done. You have taken that first step on your path to your desired goal. You have decided you are one of us. Welcome  and congratulations sister.

Hi Kelly,

Welcome to the site.

I am one of the moderators here. I noticed you might have mistakenly created another account on the 4th. It was never activated. It is against our policy to have two accounts. Would you mind if I removed the other one?

Thanks,

Jacqui
