Got my first checkup at the gender-clinic yesterday. Everything was a-okay, so I went home with a fresh set of estrogen band-aids and Cyproterone. I came home with a whole bag full of them. XD

I'm officially out now. I came out on Facebook, and have had great responses so far.
It's amazing, I was sick with worry all last month and I finally did it :')

Wow, congratulations! I remember when all that weight was lifted off of me. I'll bet you feel a lot lighter. And the positive reactions were a surprise to me, too. It turns out that people are pretty cool, and our fears are usually way overblown.

Happy for you!

Steph

I never get misgendered in public but I ALWAYS get misgendered on the phone. Surprise, not today!

:

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!

Think outside the voice box!

Transfered all the car titles to my new name.  The lady at the licensing place was ...are you serious, 9 titles?  Yeah but some of these are pretty cheap vehicles.  1970 Ford truck, paid $450 USD (previous owner didn't know how to adjust the ignition - I fixed it in 10 minutes and drove it home).  And another 1970 F250 with 4 wheel drive, paid fifty bucks more for that one.  An ancient Suburban, band rig, driven about once every 4 months.  An odd micro-car, Subaru 360.  Etc.

She got quite a laugh out of the license plate on my Fiat convertible.  It is grey with license plate 50SHADE

Wow, I can barely keep up with one car, much less 9!

Yesterday I took my wife to a spa to get a bit of a "tune up".  After all, I'm spending tons on a whole new me so I figured that if she wants a little time roll back how can I argue.  After, we headed for the mall and stopped for lunch at a new place we hadn't tried before and were surprised to find it full of blue collar construction and utility workers, a few couples and, of course, me in full femme and my cis wife.  We both rolled our eyes at each other but just played the part of two ladies out for lunch perfectly,  Several glances that said "hmmm, I wonder" and then back to their eating and nothing more, but I was nervous as a cat.  Then at the mall I treated us to a mani for me (first time) and a pedi for my wife that she had wanted for awhile.  A very wonderful thing for me then happened.  My wife's pedi girl asked her if "he" was going to pay for her as well as my mani.  My wife very clearly said "yes, give HER the bill, SHE will pay".  First time my wife sort of defended me and very clearly acknowledged me as female.  She has been pretty damn good in spite of the difficulty of the things she is dealing with regarding my being trans, but I always wondered if she could ever see me as who I am.  I told her how much that meant to me and she just said "I know" and smiled and we had a wonderful rest of the day.  Toni

I ran a race this morning in clothing that fit me both inside and out.  I felt more feminine and was comfortable in being who I am.  I looked in the mirror afterwards and saw a woman looking back smiling.  I got emotional and tears of joy erupted.  I wasn't sure I would get this far.  I look forward to the future.
Happy, Jess

Squeezed into some fairly sturdy control wear and my party dress (for the works Xmas dinner), I caught a glimpse of a tiny amount of cleavage. [emoji16]

Squee!  Joy!

I had a happy last night.  I sat with my sister and her husband at my bar for a couple drinks.  They were keenly interested in my journey and supportive.  They are even getting me a purse (coach of course) for Xmas, squee!

Girlfriend said I've got a cute but, and some curves going on!

Wife wants to meet my girlfriend.  She's happy that we are getting long so well.

One of my coworkers is actually using Claire now.

Tomorrow, I get my beard burned off with a laser, for the first time.

Tomorrow, I have a second interview at the home for distressed children.  They know I'm trans, and apparently don't care!

Worried, I'll have a bit of laser burn going, and a bit of beard that hasn't come off.
All the worlds a joke, and the people, merely punchlines

Girl, we need to take you shopping!  Coach is probably the definitive brand for ladies purses.  I wear the coach perfume too.

Gonna be honest, not looking forward to having to use purses. I don't like carrying things. ;D

Anywho, what made me happy today... So as Monday came I received my order confirmation on HRT meds. That alone is good, but obviously just another tiny little step and not really worth a mention on its own. What is worth a mention however is that for whatever reason, it triggered a moment of pure clarity, and I thought "this is really happening". And my reaction? Unadulterated joy. Any doubts that had been building up over the past month just washed away, and I have this incredible, warm feeling all over my body that isn't going away (nor do I want it to of course :D).
