I refilled my B12 after being without for two weeks and was astounded by the number of low B12 symptoms I had been having.

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

Well, I had a beautiful day today! For the first time I went to Wal-Mart and felt like just another woman shopping. I've felt a little out of place until today, today was different like walking into another room. Then I posted my new pic on Facebook and discovered I still have family and friends Later a friend came by that I haven't seen in 4 months, he's Very right wing, the look on his face was priceless! I was dressed up nice and looking good today. Oh, if life could be this good every day!

I got to pick a date to go to San Antonio for my MMDT appointment to get my transition plan started. I don't know whether to cry or laugh, but I've got that cloud 9 feeling right about now.

I went for an eye exam today in male mode. The young lady doing the initial screening noticed my transgender wristband and said it was pretty. Once in the exam room she asked about medications and I started smiling as I went down the list - Finasteride, Spironolactone... Estradiol. I told her I was transitioning. With a big smile she said she was happy for me! She treated me warmly throughout the exam. It felt awesome to tell a stranger and have her treat me so nicely. I had to sit in my car and cry happy tears for a few minutes before I was able to leave.

I had my first electrolysis session on my upper lip, with the help of a dental anesthetic.  My dentist was super excited and happy for me as she numbed my lip.  The electrologist was able to do a thorough clearing at high power, since I couldn't feel a thing.  My lip is still swollen this morning, but it is nice and smooth!

My money issue was sorted out and I was just able to request my first HRT appointment! Tentatively on the 9th, but still waiting for final confirmation.

A few good things recently--doc stepped up my HRT and I am fully out to work colleagues now (those who don't work in my office). It's hard to believe that 9 months ago I was thinking that maybe I would wait until my parents died to transition.

I've decided today that I'm not at all bothered about passing as a woman. I felt so comfortable with myself as a woman the other day. I plan to come out and live as a woman as soon as I learn to do make-up and get put on the waiting list to see a gender specialist

    That's great.  For me that day was a turning point.  I was more confident and thus passed better.  Strange side-effect.  -Denise
P.S.  I rarely wear makeup.  special occasions but that's about it.

Was at the VA today, bummer just a consultation.  My first beard removal treatment is December 11th.

The good, I was there early, so went to the cafeteria for lunch.  The cashier almost didn't take my ATM card to pay her because I didn't look like a Steve to her.
