There were a hundred little things today that all went right.  But the one I'll share here is that I received my U.S. 10-year passport with the correct name and gender.

I went shopping today with my SIL to an new indoor flea-market kind of thing and finally experienced some thing wonderful. The women all talked to me while the men didn't, just the opposite of the way it used to be. I do believe I'm starting to pass, at least good enough to be on the female side of the scale!!!
I finally get to be me, and I don't want today to be my last! That's a very nice feeling.  ;D ;D ;D

Checked into the Marriott in Oakland CA to stay while we go to a concert and we see that the "national transgender health summit" is at our hotel...it was so cool to see the lobby packed with all the happy faces, I felt right at home 😊

Hemsworth, and Cumberbatch, and Hiddleston. I'm a lesbian and I still oggled Hemsworth, and Cumberbatch, and Hiddleston.

:

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!

I particularly like the scene in the hot tub where they all play truth or dare. Wait... was that in the movie or a dream I had... a dream would explain why Ronald McDonald and Jar Jar Binks were watching... No, no. I'm pretty sure it was in the movie.

I don't mind Tom Hiddleston as Loki but in Kong there were times when I had trouble focusing on the rest of the movie. I'll take one please, two if you have them in stock. Then I felt guilty for objectifying a man, but it was only a little right?

Idris Elba is... Well hot of course, intimidating, confusing. If I met a guy like that, who was interested in me, would I run into his arms or away as fast as I could? Not sure to be honest. Scary and drop dead gorgeous are a heart pounding combination.

I am odd though, I think that Karl Urban is kinda, hmmmmmmm.  😊😊
Well, it's like this; In the Twilight movies I would take Bella's dad over all of them. Probably just my age. 😉

Darn, I missed one, Cumberbatch!
What is it about him that is so attractive?! It drives me mad sometimes. His voice? His eyes, lips? What? What is it?! Maybe it is his hands, they look like they would... Well nevermind but. I find him so attractive and I have no idea why.

Yesterday was one year since I told my girlfriend I was trans and she wrote a facebook post about how glad she was that I came out to her because she is much happier with me then she was with "Him." We can actually live a life and feel close to each other. It put into perspective how much I've changed in a year.

May year two be even happier.

So I did something today that might out me at work, but I really wanted it, so I did it anyway.  We have to wear nametags at work.  It shows who the employees are, but also is kind of a comradere type thing.  I ordered mine saying Bari Jo, but in katakana, which phonetically spelled is exactly like Bari Jo.  Once I saw the spelling is the same in Japanese and English I got so happy and had to order it.  It'll be in sometime in December, and then the questions will begin in earnest.

you know how far the universe extends outward? i think i go inside just as deep.

10/11/18 - out to the whole world.  100% friends and family support.
11/6/17 - came out to sister, best day of my life
9/5/17 - formal diagnosis and stopping DIY in favor if prescribed HRT
6/18/17 - decided to stop fighting the trans beast, back on DIY.
Too many ups and downs, DIY, purges of self inbetween dates.
Age 10 - suppression and denial began
Age 8 - knew I was different

My transition is slow but surely. Every month I'm doing something new that would make me into the person I want to be. This month I grew out my nails and learning to paint them. In the past couple of months I shape my eyebrows, shave my legs, and pierced my ears. I have a year growing out my hair. So I'm happy and hopeful.

Which... wow, never thought of this. I am going to have to practice Japanese using female speech patterns and pronouns. No more boku for me!
