I don't normally go in for the days of this or that, but today... I resolved to do something, anything new. So I took a teeny, tiny step, but one that has been a huge road block for me, and I went downstairs and talked to my family wearing the women's jeans I bought. Jeans that male hipsters wear on a daily basis without a second thought, but... I was terrified. But I did it. Teeny, tiny steps...

Yay Ellie!!! It's tough to start presenting in front of family or friends the first time. It's a big step! Keep it up, you're on a Roll!

I went to our local grocery store/pharmacy to pick up my patches and decided to get four 12-packs of lemonade. I decided to bypass the grocery cart and carried two packs in each hand. When I got to the self-checkout all of the lanes were busy, so I got in line behind the only other person waiting -- a young man with a single item. The fellow looked at me and said "You can go ahead ma'am". I of course thanked him! I am still not used to this, but I am really starting to enjoy it.

@ Jessica_Rose:  Well, that is a wonderful thing to happen to any trans.   I am certain that you were walking on cloud9 when you left the pharmacy....  it is always very self-assuring and boosts your confidence with those kinds of things happen!!!   
But, of course, looking at your recent and lovely picture of you that you posted, I am not surprised that you were addresses with the correct gender... yes indeed, ma'am!!

I woke up late today and the sun was beaming in. I got up and looked in the mirror and it looked like something on my head like dry skin or powder. When I looked closer I have hundreds if not thousands of little tiny hairs "peach fuzz" where my hair had receded. Is this possible for this to happen in a month?? Either way I have something there now and before it was smooth as silk so Yeah Me!

My doctor put me on Finasteride and I am using Minoxidil (Rogaine)2 times a day with it.

I'm on Finasteride to if I can remember how spell it, lol.  Ellie had recommended getting the Minoxidil at CostCo because it is like $44 for a six month supply but they're always out of stock when I go to get it

That's where I got the idea from Ellie. We don't have a CostCo here but we have a Sam's Club. Aren't they the same? I paid almost that much at Walgreen's for 1 months worth.

As far as I know CostCo is a stand alone Corporation where Sam's Club is owned by WalMart and they have had some closures.  Membership cost is about half of what it is at CostCo but whether the store will be there or not is a good question.  Did you checkout the prices at Sam's club?

Not yet. We have one in Knoxville I will go check out. I have a membership there.

Reality TV to me is like speed - have it in real life (Reality not Speed) and need to escape, lol.
