Rightly or wrongly, Bitch has become a controversial figure in the trans community for her decision to perform at the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival, which bars transgender women from attending, and her public statements in support of the organizers' right to exclude transwomen.

HRC does not give a damn. Do whatever you can to stop anyone from supporting the transphobic HRC. The phobia started at the roots of the organisation and has only spread as it has blossomed into the corpse flower HRC. Time to do away with it.

I believe that transphobia is already obsolete and dead as a viable ideology in queerdom. That the current transphobic leadership in HRC and MWMF formed their beliefs in an earlier time when transphobic discrimination was considered respectable, and have worked their way to the top without discarding those beliefs. That when this generation of leaders dies out, the transphobia will die with them.
