I got mine at timeless-trends.com. Lifetime warranty, I had one which lost a few posts, got a new one without any questions. I think they are very well made for an online shop.

You can also check the links directory on this website. It has a special section for corsets: https://www.susans.org/links/Shopping//Apparel//Corsets_&_Girdles//

Amazon has them. I bought one a year ago. Does a decent job. But no corset works unless you put in the time.

well yeah you have to wear it quite a lot to my knowledge. Ive got a lot of hoodies now so I can wear it secretly at home without anyone noticing :3

I'm pretty sure people will notice that you're wearing a boned corset, hoodie or not. Your posture, breathing, and ability to move will all change drastically. Good luck!

I have a boned corset. I love it, but I don't get many chances to wear it.  :( As Devyly said, if you wear a steel boned corset and tighten it up enough to change the shape of your waist, people will notice no matter how much clothing you have. Your posture and you movement will change drastically.

If you want a bit more flexibility, you could look at a waist trainer and shaper (cincher). It is pretty much a wide latex band with hooks. It gives some good shape, trains the belly muscles and is a bit more flexible than a steel boned corset...

Im looking at some on amazon, not sure what to go for as theirs so many and some claim to be both a steel boned corset and a cincher. If anyone has any recommendations let me know. Im a 36 inch waist btw

Hello Jaybutterfly!

The soft one I was referring to is this one on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00M5CV9F6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It does not have steel bones which makes it a lot more flexible and can even be worn during workouts.

All the steel bone corsets I have are from timeless trends...

Thanks so much, i found the one you mentioned (im in the UK but if I change the com to co.uk it changed to a different product.

With cinchers, say I lose a bit of weight after getting it, how much give is there before I need to change to a smaller cincher?

The Ann Cherry one (Amazon Link) has three rows of hooks. There is about 6 cm between the first and the third row, so you could loose about 6 cm on your wait circumference and still get the same level of stretch. How this translates to weight? I really don't know, it depends too much on your body and how fast you lose belly fat (that is the hardest one for me to lose and I need to lose around 5 kg before I can go to another hook row.

Regular corsets are a bit easier since they are actually tied down. But i would say about every 6 cm you need to buy a smaller size.

I have watched a bunch of youtube videos, search for Lucy's Corsetry. I found those to be very educational and she covers everything from terminology to quality to how to care for a corset.

this is probably the cheapest one she has reviewed.
