Hi all,

yesterday my first packer came in the mail :) I am pretty short (160cm) and thin, and i would not like to be big down there anyways LOL so i bought a XS Mr Limpy packer. Looks okay for what i need. I don't need it to be functional, or to STP. I just needed something in my pants.

I am now trying to understand how it works/how to take take of it appropriately. Can i get some help?

1) cleaning: i heard that soap damages it. How can i clean it? also, Will i need some corn starch to make it less sticky, won't i?

2) how to pack: i bought a couple of get Your Joey pouches, that you just pin inside of your everyday boxers. I still have to wash them (came 2 days ago) so i never tried them still. I would also have boxers that can help me pack without pouches (in case they are not clean/because i feel it would be a lot more comfortable). I know that functional trans underwear exist. Unfortunately i live in EU and most of the retailers are US based and i would like to avoid additional custom fees for this thing. Moreover, i would DEFINITELY prefer sometihing with a pouch instead of something with a hole ^^ because i only pack for esthettical reasons. Ah, and please, no Jocks. I hate them^^.
Are there any brands that are not specifically made for packing but that can be cool for it? I saw these for example: https://www.underarmour.it/it-it/boxerjock-ua-original-series-15-cm-da-uomo/1277238.html any of you had experience with these? can they work?

thank You fam :)

Just use some cold water to clean it. Then other air dry it or gently dab it with a towel. Heard corn starch or talcum powder works well.

As for boxers I found a tight pair of boxer briefs kept it securely in place.
They/them pronouns preferred.

My Mr Limpy has been fine when I wash it in the shower with my body wash and warm water! I dry it gently with my towel afterwards. Baby powder works well for un-stickying it. If you don't want to use soap, just water still works. Warm water is better for any really stuck-on grime.

If you can handle briefs, I've found them very secure, but I know some guys hate them.

As for more trunk/boxer brief type underwear, anything with a fly works well because you can put it in between the layers of the fly and it acts as a pouch. If you have boxer-briefs that are snug, those work well too. I've packed many times in loose trunks and the worst that happens is you need to watch out when you are in the bathroom, but otherwise, it's decently secure. Athletic underwear that has a pouch for a cup can also work- just put your packer in instead of a cup! I haven't personally tried it yet just because I haven't found too many of those types of underwear.

Most of the harness type things I know of are too pricey for me to really recommend, especially since you're in the EU. The joey is the most cost-reasonable.

I wear basic Fruit of the Loom boxer-briefs that fit snugly yet comfortably, and I sewed the front opening closed.  The back opening I sewed 2/3rds closed, leaving just enough room in the middle of the fly to put my packer inside the pouch my sewing made, and adjust it so it fits nicely against my body.  That way, I have no fear of it slipping out the front hole while walking or running.  (I've heard of that happening!)

As for cleaning it, since its not directly in contact with my skin, I usually feel there's no need to wash it very often.  But whenever I do wash my packer, I use warm water, mild hand soap, dry it off, let it air dry and lightly apply corn starch in the ziplock baggie I keep it in.  Make sure to get the kind of cornstarch from the baby isle, NOT the food-grade stuff!

I hear that talcum powder is somehow unsafe, but I don't know why.  Maybe it reacts with the silicon or something.  Idunno.

Either way, good luck and enjoy your packer!

I use Joey's with my Masho (sits better than a mr limpy). I wear boxer briefs so that I don't fear the packer coming down my pant leg. I recommend switching out the pin for a slide type diaper pin or you may find the pin coming open when you pull down your underwear.  https://www.walmart.com/ip/Dritz-Baby-Safe-Diaper-Pins-4-Pkg-Pink/52676956

I just wash everything with hand soap and water and hang to dry. Then a bit of cornstarch on them.
