falk

Hello, I'm falk. I use he/they pronouns. I'm 20, or rather almost 21 in March.
I've been describing myself as transmasculine lately, or rather as male, for about a month now. I've been waiting on the decision to come out to my mother for five years and now that I have I'm a bit of a loss to continue.
I've been lurking Susan's Place for quite some time. I'm unable to recall when exactly I discovered this site. I've decided to finally join as a member today. I haven't had much opportunity to join in the "community" so to speak, so I'm seeing this as my first test into those waters. Thank you to anyone who takes time out of their day to read this.

Hi Falk!  Welcome to Susan's Place!  I'm Jessica, a trans woman.  Both men and women here at Susan's have their moments of losing resolve.  With myself there has been a couple of times but after sorting things out through therapy I've continued.  Hopefully you will seek help from a gender therapist, they are invaluable. I'm sure others will add their thoughts.  So happy you joined.
I see your new here, so I'll post some links that may help you get better acquainted with the site.

Things that you should read

"If you go out looking for friends, you are going to find they are very scarce.  If you go out to be a friend, you'll find them everywhere."

I like you already Falk.  I guess I didn't need to mention the therapist.  Love you giving out your thoughts so quickly to Mika after lurking for so long.

I've started therapy recently, around last month. Partially for my gender identity/dysphoria, partially for other mental health concerns.
I've been in and out of therapy before but this is the first time I voluntarily entered service.
Thank you, Jessica.
