FTM boards

Hey its Yeti, 47year old Transman on T for two weeks now and feeling great.  I was wondering if there was a way to get a set of FTM boards set up for the transboys and Transmen on this site.  It was mentioned to me we don't have too many men on the site which is true to an extent.  The men come in and out of the Chat areas mostly but the discussions are pretty much dominated by the ladies (I'm not complaining we do have our own FTMtalk room) and that's pretty much it.  The ladies also follow us in there and I'm the type that wants to go in there so I don't offend the ladies with FTM topics.  The boards are not like that but if they say FTM and the topics are notated the ladies can see whether its something they want to read or not.  I think by making Susan's a more friendlier place for FTM's we'd feel more included around here.  Boards might help this along with FTM issue articles written bh a FTM or a lady who completely gets it!

I'm assuming you're not talking about the general FTM boards. There is a private FTM board, available to members who request membership to the FTM Transsexual membergroup.

If you go into your profile, on the bar across the top of the site, underneath your avatar. And then hover over "Modify Profile", you'll see an option at the bottom called "Group Membership".

This will show you a list of membergroups you can request membership to. One of those is "FTM Transsexual". If you get access to that, then you should have access to the private FTM board. I say "should" because it's a child of a subscribers only board, so I'm not 100% certain you'll have access to it.

I noticed the same- not too many guys here. I'm 32 FTM. Also feel like the guys who are around are a lot younger, unless like you- I'm not getting the right audiences for topic posts.

I'm a guy too. I'm 40. There aren't many of us, but I guess that's how it is. There are more MTF's around in real world too.

Cool to know there is a private forum for us. I'm no subscriber but I donate whenever I can afford it.

I agree we need our own board that is not acquired by sub, since stupid as it may be, it is not an 100% chance that you will be granted the FTM Transsexual membership. It just seems kind of unfair, I have no clue why there are more girls, but there is and there is nothing wrong with it, but still it would be nice to have our own board. I have had the same issue as you, have had a hard time finding others guys to chat with.

I'm FTM and 45.  Good to meet you, Yeti!  I wish the FTM board was more active, but it is what it is.  I don't mind when female users come in and post--it's nice to get another perspective.  I do wish the guys posted more often, though.
