Medi-Cal Coverage and Breast Implants

Hey all... Looking for California girls here. I was wondering if California's Medicaid plan "Medi-Cal" covers Breast Augmentation.

I have Kaiser through Medi-Cal. I AM still on the road to transition.

However, I feel as if I am still lacking in my feminine appearance. I apparently take after my mother, who has a rather small bust size. Even having been on hormones for 2 years, I still feel a lack of well... feminine appearance die to my flat as a board chest.

I have noticed that I do not really have tenderness anymore, and have been told by multiple sources that I am just about done growing in the breast area. My mother had about 2 years of growth when she hit puberty, as did my sister.

SO! I was wondering if anyone knows if Medi-Cal covers Breast Augmentation

Now Medi-Cal does cover anything that is medically necessary. I am getting my Breast augmentation and my SRS covered thru Medi-Cal. I do not have have kaiser but I have friends who have them. They will put you through hoops. You just have to be ready to jump with them. Which I am really sorry about. I have Care1st through Medi-Cal. You have to pressure them and be persistence. Also Kaiser does a lot of surgeries in house now.

Yeah I know you have to jump through hoops. However I am well on the road. I mean every step of the way, things have just gotten bad as far as my dysphoria goes... and they have documented the severity of my dysphoria. So hopefully that helps.

Kaiser in Washington you need to be an AA cup or smaller for them to cover BA. Measured by a physician. I get measured on the 30th to see, bounce from right at AA to A or a little larger depending on weight and hydration level.
