Casodex is a drug that naturally desensitizes androgen receptors and stimulates the production of estrogen in the body. I have been on this said drug since December. Now, one may say, "Fleur, your body will not feminize that quickly! You need to be on FULL estrogen. Blah."

However, my breasts on casodex are already sore and sensitive and I have been getting stretch marks on my inner thighs and on the sides of my hips. I've also experienced some minor growing pains, and I stopped growing when I was 16 or so. I feel like my body really has feminized: not drastically, but it is getting there. Here is a picture. Excuse the dirty mirror and paint marks on my bathroom wall. We're moving soon and the house is kind of a mess.

Fleurgirl,

I hope you are taking Casodex under medical supervision. It has some severe side effects and with your life style could be very dangerous.

For example you need to avoid getting sun tan, it is dangerous for your liver and can have bad effects on your red blood cells. Unfortunately the bad effects don't become apparent until they are severe.

Thanks for the concern, Cindy. I have a natural dark skin color, but I do apply SPF30 sunscreen whenever outside. Also, I am on Casodex under medical supervision--prescribed to me by Dr. Christopher Lewis. I'm wondering what created the assumption that I was self-diagnosing? I don't think I'm old enough nor do I have the resources to access this kind of medication illegally--even if I wanted to.
