I was wondering what is the best way for getting estrogen? My dr has me on the patch and t blockers. Is there a best way to do it or just depends on the dr u see? The patch isn't covered by my insurance so every month I'll be paying $97 for 8 stickers lol. It's a small price to pay to be the real me.

Congrats on getting started on HRT.

Which way is "best" depends on a lot of factors.  Patches are used when the doctor is worried about liver function: they are preferred for older patients for that reason, and for those with other health issues.  Injections also save wear and tear on the liver, but there is the added hassle/risk of using needles.  Pills are cheap and convenient, but are hard on the liver.

You might want to discuss this with your doctor to see if there are alternatives that will work in your situation.

Congratulations with starting down this section of the transition road.
Kathy has giving some solid information to you, and I agree your doctor may have a solution.
