So, I'm very early in my transition--though I have already spent a considerable amount of time planning my transition. I had set my heart on Dr Suporn to perform my bottom surgery (his work is amazing, he creates vaginas).

I was devastated to find out that he's retiring and that I won't have a chance to have him perform my surgery. I've spent (a lot of time) checking the work of other surgeons and have not been satisfied with the work I've seen. I don't just want something that looks like a vagina, but also something that is orgasm possible/ self lubricating etc.

So... should I choose not to have bottom surgery, what then? Could I function sexually or would that stop as the years of HRT passed by?

And... if not Suporn, who? I tried to search for images and stories of the work that Dr Bank has completed but I can't find anything.

Honestly, I'm quite nervous, really upset, and this may prevent me from transitioning. I just don't know what to do and if anyone can share their experiences of sex/orgasm etc I'd really appreciate it. Also, are there any guides for trans women that people could recommend?

Thank you,

Matilda x

I'm pretty sure there's no photo's of Dr Bank's work yet, unless there are some in the secret Facebook group which I don't have access too.

However you could book with Dr Bank, pay your 20% deposit, and by the time surgery rolls around there should be some photo's. You can always cancel and get your deposit back until very late in the process if you're not happy.

There's an interview with Dr Suporn and Dr Bank in that big (204 pages) pdf about SRS with Suporn.

Its also not impossible to get SRS with Suporn, its just very difficult and a bit unlikely. There are cancellations and a lottery system in place for those dates, so you could try your luck.
