Tomorrow is the big day! I had my consult almost a year and a half ago, booked for surgery almost a year ago and yesterday I had my pre-op appointment. Dr. Satterwhite seems like a very caring and attentive surgeon. I will plan to keep you guys updated during my journey and I will be happy to answer any questions!

Big hug! Are the butterflies flying around in your tummy?  ;D.

So far so good! I had my surgery on the 7th and I am a little over a week out. I had my catheter and packing out today. It was so strange at first but I am quickly becoming accustomed to the  new sensations. I still have some stitches and bruising so obviously it aint pretty down there but I think the finished result is going to be quite nice. I also did my first dialation which wasnt bad at all! Happy to answer any questions!

Your first dilation is a major milestone - you are there!  Congratulations, everything gradually gets better and easier from this point.
