As we've seen from the totaliser, last month was very lean, and we almost broke even in January, thanks to a match it drive from other members generosity - all of those deficits are being carried by Susan, because she knows how valuable the site is to those,just starting, or on their journeys.
Quite simply, those costs need to be covered somehow - and on a 30 day month, that total is about $80 per day.
Yesterday we had over 500 members log in, if of those members we could give a $4 coffee to Susan's we'd smash the basic needs to operate the site.
Personally, I'm not in a position to be able to financially contribute, and find it disappointing to see the numbers crawl up and a little flick at the end of the month, to hopefully get close - and this month seems to following suit..
In your welcome links, there are links on how to contribute, or make donations - and any surplus is re-used to perform maintenance on the hardware that we use.
Just think, this story could change by one coffee each a month. 12 coffees per year. 12, measly coffees.
I have no affiliation to Susan's financially, but as a member, I simply want this place to carry on.
