Hello!  I have have been reading posts at Susans for a long time.  I am finally allowing my female self to come out and this seems like a great group of people to get to know.  I have shopped for and worn women's clothes while presenting as male for the longest time.  Like many I tried for the better part of my life to convince myself that it was a fetish or something that I might eventually loose interest in. This year i turned 50 and decided it was time to explore beyond clothing. I started HRT this month and laser work.  At the beginning of the year it was planned as a short term experiment, like many, it is rapidly becoming a  "why did I wait so long".  Because of work and lifestyle I will be in the closet for a while.  That being said I am very happy that I am slowly moving towards a place where I can be myself.

I'm so glad you have come out of the lurking zone, it's a safe place to be in, but it's safe inside Susan's Place also.  I too started hrt as a trial and soon found out it was what I needed.  Interacting with members here, through comments and posts, have given me insight to my path.
