hey everyone, i'm new here! i started testosterone on february 9th, 2018. so far the biggest changes are my skin. i don't have that much of an increase in acne, since i already had to deal with that. but mostly oilyness and how rough it feels. idk if it's cause of my cold or not but my throat feels strained and dry a lot more. i was wondering where other people who went on testosterone was during this mark. i definitely feel more inpatient to get a beard and all that extra stuff already, but i know i should chill out.

Hello penguin, welcome to Susan's!

Congratulations on starting HRT.  I don't have any advice on testosterone HRT - I'm heading in the opposite direction, I am MtF.  But I have seen some amazing FtM transformations with HRT.

Since you are new, I'll add some links to help with navigation, also site guidelines.  Really great to see you here.

Things that you should read

When you get a chance, would be great if you can post an intro in the Introductions Forum.

welcome!

Skin getting oily = after 24 hrs of T
Skin feeling rougher = about 1 month after
Acne = mild only, about 5-6 months after
Sore/dry throat =  didn't get one. Voice just dropped out for a couple weeks right away.
Facial hair = still a bit left to come in at 1 yr 5 months, but minoxidil speeds it up massively
