It's been a month for me so far and I haven't had any sexual encounters yet. Still kinda swollen and uncomfortable,

How many weeks did it take for you ladies to have your first penetrative sex? Also, is anal safe after surgery?

The rule of thumb is about 3 months however this can greatly vary. The only way to be sure is to have an internal examination to ensure everything has properly healed. The most common problem is granulation/proud flesh. This can easily be treated in the office but you shouldn't have sex if you have it. I had it and it only required a couple of treatments to clear up. I know of somebody who had complications and needed about a year to get it under control. Check with your doctors and possibly you can get a referral to somebody who can do the exam.

Almost exactly 3 months. However I took dilation to be an opportunity for pleasuring myself from as soon as major pain had passed, it made dilation easier, relaxing PC muscles etc. While things are still settling into place, my first penetrative sex with GF was nice and has continued to improve. While I definitely enjoy penetration, now it's not often the main event :-).

I finally feel most everything is settled in, I now know how to get myself sufficiently aroused that I want to and can rub my clit quite furiously :-).

3 months exactly.  Was with my GF.  She used a silicone toy.   She tried to go a bit to hard and fast but needed to be more gentle. Clit was the main event then. Since then penetration has become a much more erotic part. . .

286 weeks!

Playing it safe, I see  ;D

I'd probably hold off for 286 weeks too given the nasty hook up culture among college students these days. I need plenty of dilating before I'm ready for that ...
