I've been looking for an in-home permanent hair removal device that will work on gray hair and on my face with a dense beard. I have an IPL that works pretty well elsewhere, but doesn't work with gray hair and can't be used on my face.

I just purchased a device called a Krasr Permashed, it was only forty bucks. It heats the follicle and slowly reduces growth. I tried my first treatment today. Have any of you tried this device? I'm really curious if you've had success or have any usage tips. It's a strange little machine. The reviews on Amazon are pretty good, so I thought it would be worth the risk. Anybody ever tried this?

thanks!  :)

Oh, and another thing, be certain to stop by the Introductions Forum to tell the members here about yourself.
You will be noticed as a new member and you will receive more interaction from other members here as they will then be aware of your arrival on Susan's Place.

Thanks for the welcome Danielle. I will post in the Introductions Forum and say hi.

Also, I'll post an update on this hair removal device after I've used it awhile. The instructions say it requires a lot of treatments to see any results.
