Hello everyone.   I've been a reader (lurking sounds devious!) for some time and have finally decided to make an account so I can join in the conversation.  I'm not much into social media things.  About me, I'm in my early 60's and post op.  I've been aware from a very young age but didn't know anything about transsexuality.  I learned about crossdressing, which I did forever until I determined it wasn't really me.  I eventually learned that a person could be transgender and that was it.  I finally knew who and what I was.  Life has its ups and downs but I wouldn't trade mine for the world, well maybe a big winning lottery ticket!   I'm active in a support group with wonderful people I enjoy being around although I live a stealth life day to day.  I hope to be able to contribute here from time to time and be able to give back to a community of people I truly appreciate.

Since I have been reading posts for some time I do feel as if I know many of you. I hope to get to know you all.

Hello Judi, I see that you are new here and may have questions and concerns, this is the right place for you to be to find out what others have done that may have been in your circumstances. 
Be aware that there are lots of members here that can identify with the issues that you brought up in your introduction posting.

It is nice that you have signed up so you can share with others and involve yourself with some give and take with other members.

I love your term "reader" rather than lurker!  I hope you don't mind if I borrow that from you!
Your experience, being post op, can be of great help to many here.  I'll be looking forward for your comments and posts.

Please do read the links that Danielle gave you.  They can be very helpful and have many answers.  The one highlighted red are answers to commonly asked ones.
