I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Bluebond-Langner and Dr. Lee Zhao at NYU Langone for sometime in October for my gender affirming vaginoplasty surgery.
I've heard some really great things about Dr. Rachael Bluebond-Langner and Dr. Lee Zhao both, and I'm really impressed with their technique and facility. Not to mention Dr. B-L is in network with most insurances, including my own.
My questions are: Has anyone here undergone GRS with Dr. Rachael Bluebond-Langner and/or Dr. Lee Zhao? What was your experiences like with these doctors and facility? Are you pleased with your post op results? Does it function naturally and have a realistic aesthetic?
For those who used insurance: How did NYU Langone handle your insurance?
If you also are aware of somewhere online I could view Dr. B-L's post op photos that would be amazing. There doesn't appear to be any on her website nor on
www.transbucket.com, and I'd be really interested in seeing her post op results.
If you have any experience with these doctors I'd highly value your feedback, please message me if you don't feel comfortable elaborating your experience publicly.
I'm also interested in Dr. McGinn, and Dr. Meltzer/Ley equally, so if anyone would like to share a comparison of those surgeons to Dr. B-L that'd be fantastic.
