Hi there. Um, guess I just talk about myself here?

I am from the UK, 32, just kind of getting started on this whole trans thing. Been questioning things for a long time, finally accepted it at the start of the year. I identify as transmasculine nonbinary but FTM works fine as a shorthand.

I came out to my best friend and her husband in Jan, and am out to an online community I frequent. Currently trying to get the nerve to come out to my immediate family. Have written a letter, just too chicken to send it yet.

Been living abroad for 3 years but decided to quit my job and move back to the UK to try and start transitioning. Which is kind of crazy but there you go. I have been having online counselling with GenderGP (anyone used them?) tried to get an appointment with Gendercare but they never responded to me. Hoping that when I get back to England I can get started on T pretty quickly.

Hoping to find a job somewhere near Bristol as I have friends there, anyone here from around the south west?

Kind of excited. Kind of terrified.

Anyway hi, I think that's enough for now.

Welcome.

I know nothing about UK, I'm in Sweden. I hope you find a good gender therapist.

Mixed feelings are normal. :)

Hi Blank!  Welcome to Susan's Place!  I'm Jessica.
I agree with @MeTony (Pierre) that a good therapist is something to find.
There are a number of members in the UK that may be able to supply you with some tips with Gendercare and GenderGP.

I see your new here, so I'll post some links that may help you get better acquainted with the site. Pay attention to the site rules they can be of great help and don't forget the link highlighted red.  It has answers to questions that are commonly asked.  Then join in on a topic you find interesting and learn and share.
