Congrats to you! I am very glad to hear about your fabulous experience with Keelee MacPhee since I am booked with her in September! I have been very impressed by her during our meetings that I decided she is the one I wanted to go with, and took myself off another surgeon's waiting list. The idea of also having this done close to home is very appealing!

So, uh...I also had surgery with Dr. MacPhee on the 11th  I was under from 11:30-18:00.  You must have been right before me!!  How's your recovery thus far?  Did you have your first post-op appt today as well?

Congratulations on your surgery, and best wishes for recovery.  I know it's difficult to describe quite how incredible the emotions are when waking up from GCS, knowing a completely different chapter to your life has just started.

Fleila - omg that's so crazy yes!! I was first for surgery from 7:30am-12 on the 11th. My post op appointment was actually yesterday on the 20th which went really really well. Today I had to dilate for 15mins and to be truthful it wasn't easy to do. Took me about a whole 45mins. I hope it gets easier

Hello. I just wanted to put this out there to give credit where it is due. Dr. Keelee Macphee and her team here in North Carolina are far superior than I have ever imagined. This morning during my operation she was able to achieve 10.5 inches of depth. Which I was very very very surprised and amazed by. She texted my phone and told me that I was the biggest she has ever done surpassing the big orange dialator. Shocker right?! I was able to see my girl for about 10 seconds after surgery before the swelling took place and she was so beautiful. I couldn't be any happier right now. As far as the pain, it is very minimal. Just trying to adjust to the catheter at this point. For anyone thinking about having this surgery I highly recommend Keelee and their staff here in NC!
