Hi ladies -

I have been on HRT estradiol patch for going on 6 months and I have had what I think is a great response...I started out a 48, less than A with male boobs and now m close to a 48 B and it is breast tissue - my endo has confirmed it!  I have read so many accounts with so many mixed results that I was wondering what your body's repsonse has been as time goes on?

Specifically I have heard that most have been responsive for 2-3 years to E, true?

Is the growth steady? sporadic? in spurts so to speak?

Any comments from those on this journey who have had good and bad responses to E I am interested to hear?  I am on a third increase now and am only half way to what I was told were the gold standard as far as blood levels of E.

Looking forward to responses?

Love and Hugs to you all, Marcie

All I can say is long live estrogen. In may of last year I was a 46c. I've dropped 65 pounds since then and at The end of November I had my first professional fitting. They put me in a 42 C which was looking very nice and fit great. B January l started estrogen and I had dropped to a 40c with some quad boob and currently I'm measuring 39 band. Went to look at bras and dresses a week ago and got another fitting. Tried dropping to a 38 band and a D cup but no way. Too tight. Next came a 40D and after the SA adjusted the straps and band she said to wait. Came back in and I tried another bra and it fit like a glove at 40DD. I was wondering why the girls looked like they had been flatten by the end of the day. I guess I'm just lucky that the booby fairy loves me.
I get my second T levels results Thursday and my first estrogen results as well
December 2015 noticed strange feelings moving in
December 2016 started to understand what my body has been telling me all my life, started wearing a bra for comfort full time

Mid year 2017 Started dressing and going out shopping etc by myself
October T 14.8 / 456
Came out to my wife in December 2017
January 2018 dressing androgenes and still have face hair
Feb 2018 Dressing full time in female clothing out at work and to friends and family, clean shaven and make up
Living full time March 1 2018
March T 7.4 / 236

I´m at 5 month mark also on HRT and have been surprised about the breast development. I thought that would take forever and be the last thing that changes in this body but no...I´m A cup now and that is just fine for me, as I´m small in anycase, so even these A cups look more than enough.

And if they continue to grow still, well, I will have big breasts compared to my physical frame.

A shirt with nice scenery of rolling hills or mountains always seemed to me to be naturally appropriate for a curvy woman to wear.

Allison,  I'm in the same club. HRT for 14 months.  Maybe an A.  I thought they would be bigger by now.   ::)

Well,

That was not exactly as expected!  I know women in my family range from barely and A to a D and only 16 so far, so variation is natural.

I was hoping I could get an idea of how even the growth was, whether it was a little or a lot of growth...from start to when the E stops having an effect!

Thanks for your replies so far, I am so glad many aew happy with whatever they get, and I am still hoping for more answers with this one!

Donna - Thanks for the reply - 46C to start? Wow!!  I hope you will keep me up to date on how it goes.  I have lost 40 so far I have 80 to go to get to my goal, the E makes it harder for me to lose...

Love and Hugs, Marcie

I'm bigger than immediate female family member now. My girls came in even at first then the right one took a slight jump ahead. The left caught up and they stayed somewhat the same rate after that. Now the right one is pushing ahead again and both are very tender and sensitive. Another growth spurt, maybe and I hope so. I've had growth since may of last year but the biggest changes have been in the past 3.5 months as they are filling in and rounding out more.
On Thursday I get my first injection to shut down the T production in prep for an orchi, I'm very curious to see what difference it will make in the size and growth after that.

Having a growth spurt right now. I started hormones in 2004, 14 years ago! SRS in 2005.

QuoteAny comments from those on this journey who have had good and bad responses to E I am interested to hear?

An A cup right now. Despite high and low doses of E for 14 yrs HRT. Despite taking progesterone, even at high doses. Despite very low T. Despite all the women in my family having breasts of at least B cup.

QuoteI was told were the gold standard as far as blood levels of E.

Blood levels of E fluctuate, a recent study admitted they didn't know the optimal level for feminization in transwomen and sensitivity varies across individuals.

I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

I second Lindy's comment; I'm so happy for you Marcie. I am 10 weeks HRT and really look forward to these wonderful physical changes. I have already experienced emotional change as I feel  a sense of peace and hence less aggravation and stress over the dysphoria.

Hugs to both Marcie and Lindy

I am another charter member of the IBTC (itty bitty titty committee).  After 15 months, I am barely an A cup.  Every now and then, I get a "growth spurt", but the actual amount of growth is minimal.  My breasts seem to get fuller, but not bigger.

Oh, well, they are bigger than those of our friend N, who is a cis woman and flat as a board.  So I won't complain.

Yesterday my breasts so tender make me unable to concentrate with my work. I think yesterday I also experience with hot flashes for the first time.
