There are many cases were trans-women dont do it because they were told they dont need to and they end p growing hair which is much harder or impossible to remove post op. There are also many who never get the issue. I persoanlly fall on its better to be safe then sorry.
Awww no my little kitten gif site is gone :( sad.

I'm just starting to research the different NHS GRS surgeons myself. The guidance on Bellringer's website (who Rashid studied under) implies that removal will depend on the technique. A straight penile inversion doesn't, but a penile with scrotal graft may need some removal, that same website also has a digram/image of the area that would need clearing if the graft method is to be used.
I was told to contact Iffy Middleton at Parkside hospital, and she can give guidance on what may be needed, I'm waiting to hear back from her myself. X

thanks megan. can you send me the link to that picture of the area that needs to be cleared. i should see tina in july august they should have my referall by now. but i dont want to risk turning up and sge telling me i need hair removal. so i booked in a laser clinic now that have trans clients and slso a brand new laser that removes hair in all sorts of volours and skin tones and aparently is pain free. so i got a consultation on the 1.5 and then ill book in asap to start hair removal so i got at least 2-3 treatments by time i see dr. rashid. thank god i havent got that much hair as i had in my face. 😂 had 9 treatments in my face till i was hair free and i looked like bin laden before that lol

Hey hun, link below (mods I hope this is ok ?).

This is James Bellringer's site. Rashid may have different requirements,  and also I think the surgeons prefer electro over laser for genital stuff. I'm getting a consult before I start any unpleasant and time consuming hair removal! X

well as that clinician is specialised in the surgery area ill see what she says. i dont care what she treats me witg as long as the hair is gone. saying that thou i want it all removed the entire bikini area and if there is any left they can use electro. only reason why i wanna start bow is as i dont wanna waste time. if she sees me and says i dont need anymore hair removal in the surgery area then ill stop that and just carry on in the bikini area. at least i started and wont waste time if you know what i mean. i dont wanna wait any longer for things like that.

Fab avatar!

Yes. I think unless you're very small and/or circumcised, it's quite possible you won't need any removal.
Sadly I'm both small and circumcised, so I think I'll likely need it [emoji853]
