What will be my name

I'm finally ready to transition. I have had to quit everyone I know because they wouldn't understand my decision. My wife, my children and my friends don't want to see me anymore. I will see psychiatrists in a month or so. Very very heartbreaking but I can't live in denial anymore. I will continue my journey alone for now. I have a question for you, which name do you prefer? Sabrina or Joanie? Thanks [emoji4]

I'm so sorry to hear about the lack of acceptance you've received from your friends and family. 

As for names, it's really a personal thing, so what matters most is which one you prefer. Of course, if you don't have something in mind for a middle name already, you can always use both.

Sabrina Joan 🤔 has a ring to it.

Sabrina would be difficult to mess with. It'll always seem formal. Joan could be Joanie to your friends, or even Jo. Try them out for a week. You'll decide rather quickly if you get tried of hearing it, or it needs a little tweaking.

Thank you for your answers [emoji16] I think it will be Sabrina then. It is more similar to my current name too. Even if I saw 2 psychiatrists, a psychologist and a therapist, I am so eager to see my specialized psychiatrist and begins hrt. I think it will be a big step forward for me. It seems like nothing is moving right now. Except that my wife saw me with mascara and laugh at me. Doesn't matter I went in public with mascara, false nails and a women t-shirt and nobody care. Hurray [emoji6]
