One of the saddest things I've noticed over the years is the aggressive manner in which many respond.   Passive aggressive is one thing.. open hostility is something completely different.

In this world its far better if people were more open, honest, and caring with each other.  This includes across the internet 'air waves' too.  Aggressive behaviors are rarely appropriate in life, or in the chat room environments.

I've had times when I heard or saw someone telling falsehoods.. direct contradictions to things I know to be true, and I will generally attempt to steer them in the right direction by posting links, explaining the science, etc.  Unfortunately even doing this is seen as 'aggressive' behaviors at times too... so I stopped doing it.  Eventually though people just leave and never come back.

Just saying this:  Let our dealings with our fellow traveler in this world be one of kindness, love, compassion.  This world is big enough to handle that too :)  And certainly needs more.
