Help! Living Abroad for a Year and Doctor Won't Prescribe T!

I've been on T for the last 6 years and can pass easily. In a few months, I'll be moving to Germany for a year. I'm not familiar with Germany's laws regarding HRT, and I just found out that my doctor in the US isn't willing to prescribe a year's worth of medication. I don't know what to do! I can't bear the thought of going off T. Please give me advice.

I doubt you can legally import 1 year of T into Germany. You can't into Australia, the maximum is probably 3 months. I think you'll need to get it there.

I would imagine you can take a small amount with you provided you have doctor's prescriptions and a letter explaining you are transsexual just in case customs have an issue. Once in Germany, register with a local GP ASAP and explain your situation again and that you need a continuous prescription for T whilst you are resident.

How much is your dr willing to prescribe, and do you plan to be back at any interval. My dr prescribes 6 months for me as I also live abroad, but I usually make it back within 6 months.
