So in the past I always had my blood tests done at the trough period of shots (5-6 days since shot) and it's always been between 600-650ish. I get a shot once a week. Yesterday I had my test done only 8 hours after getting my shot and my result was 696. Due to the peak level actually not being that high this should warrant an increase in my dosage by 1/4 or 1/2 right? I am at about half the dose that other people are on from my understanding and have never had a dosage change. Currently 2 years on T.

Testosterone Cypionate has a very long half-life, measured in days. Some people report 4 days and others report 12 days. Either way, your blood level will only fall a small amount and your current dose will only raise it somewhat since you are getting a new dose each week.

The real question to ask is: Are the blood levels where your doctor wants it to be?

As for dose adjustments: This needs to be discussed with your doctor. As long as the blood levels are above 200 ng/dl you are in the normal male range, which is 119–929 ng/dL. At 696 you are in the normal male range as long as the units are ng/dl.
