A prominent gynecologic cancer surgeon is urging fellow physicians to reconsider offering a medical procedure for transgender patients to aid in the transition from female to male.

Given the difference in the recovery period and the intrusiveness of this versus other methods, this should be the method for both women and men. It is very important for FtMs, but women as well could do with more surgeons learning this.
